I am having trouble simulating the holding of a key with the KeyDown function

it doesn't seem to hold the key.

i attempted to do this in Notepad and it only seems to print one E, therefore not being held down however if i do this with KeyDown on SHIFT it does make the letter capital.

So is it actually working but notepad not picking it up?

Hi There,

What you need to do is call SimulateKeyPress() in a loop while you want the keypresses to be repeated, most likely with a pause between the key presses.

Hope this helps.
